Digital Festival Zurich: Inspiration, innovation and fun!

This year the Digital Festival Zurich will once again be all about inspiration and the future. The festival will take place from September 13th through 17th at the Kaufleuten and Technopark in Zurich. A diverse program with keynotes, workshops, labs and parties awaits you. STARTUPS.ch will be accompanying the event as a media partner.

 

Program

The organizers of the Digital Festival Zurich have once again set up an exciting and diverse program for the five day festival. The festival is hosting 23 top-class keynote speakers, including Daniel Sennheiser, CEO of Sennheiser electronics; Bracken Darrell, CEO of Logitech; Prof. Carlo Ratti, director at the Senseable City Lab at MIT; Dr. Martin Hofmann, group CIO at Volkswagen and Martin Eberhard, founder and former CEO of Tesla. In addition, HackZurich, the largest hackatlon in Europe, will take place. 550 international specialists, programmer and engineers from 55 countries, which have been selected out of 4’000 applications, will compete in teams to build a functional and innovative prototype within 40 hours.

In addition to the highlights mentioned above, Digital Festival Zurich will offer Lunches, BBQs and parties at which the attendees will have the possibility of an informal exchange with other participants. All of this is included in the price of the Festival Pass (CHF 840.-) and also with the corresponding day passes (CHF 340.-)

Possibilities and goals

Participants will profit from valuable imputs and insight through conversations with other attendees and through keynotes held in part by CEOs and IT managers from world-famous tech companies. The Digital Festival sees itself as an incubation platform for future steps and ideas. The attendees shall receive food for thought,  see new perspectives and be inspired. Thanks to a diverse program, no one will miss out on networking either. In addition, the Digital Festival Zurich will focus on challenges and opportunities the Swiss economy faces in an international context.
